St. Francis School Building
We have recently signed a lease with the Upper Mississippi Academy for the use of the St. Francis school building. They are currently located at Fort Snelling in modular trailers and are very excited about being in a real school building. They will begin moving items into the school in June and will take occupancy on July 1st. This is a real blessing for our parish, since the lease income will be allocated for the reduction of our debt to the Archdiocese, which gave us substantial credit in the past few years as we struggled financially. We will now be able to begin paying down that debt and also in- crease our financial reserves. The lease agreement also allows us to continue to use the gym and social hall for our parish meetings and events.
